Noah joined the psychedelic law reform movement in the early 1990s after learning about the ibogaine paradigm. While practicing law as a commercial litigator, he has served as chair of the NYC Bar Association's Committee on Drugs and the Law, organized the NYC Cannabis Parade and Rally, coined the term "psychedelic law" when he founded the New Amsterdam Psychedelic Law blog, assisted the Decriminalize Denver campaign in obtaining approval of its ballot initiative, and currently is building support for psychedelic law reform in New York through New Yorkers for Mental Health Alternatives. He teaches Continuing Legal Education programs and provides media commentary on cannabis and psychedelics.
